2022 - 2023
- In March of 2022 we moved into a 28,842 sq. ft. building on 5.28 acres located in Angola, IN. We were able to start production in the new facility in September of 2022.
- The first update to our logo (in 20 years) was made and introduced in March 2023. All product packages were updated as well - superfoods and crisps as of June, oils and dressings as of August.
- Our crackers were renamed 'sprouted crisps' and the a few of our flavors changed names as our recipes improved to include a variety of seeds including chia, sesame, and pumpkin.
2021
- New Organic Superfoods in the cacao family, Cacao Butter Wafers and Sweet Cacao Nibs, are added to the Foods Alive family.
2020
- New Organic Superfoods, Tart Cherries and Moringa Powder, are added to the Foods Alive line up.
- Not an oil but still cold-pressed, our Sunflower Lecithin is added to the Foods Alive products!
2019
- New Organic Superfood: Agar Agar Powder, a red seaweed used as a vegan replacement for gelatin.
2018
- New Organic Cold-Pressed Oils: Black Cumin Seed Oil and Omega Power Oil Blend are introduced.
- Our first protein blend - Protein Power 4 Powder - is introduced, providing a mixture of Pea, Sesame, Hemp, and Chia protein.
- Our first trail mix - Globe Trekker - is introduced, including Goji Berries, White Mulberries, Jungle Peanuts, and Cacao Nibs.
2017
- New Organic Superfoods: Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Cashews, Pecans, Walnuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds.
2016
- New line of Power Crackers and Snackers are introduced; Coconut Curry, Rockin' Reishi, Chocolate Macaroon, and Lemon Chia Crunch.
- New line of Super Veggies are introduced; Good'N Hearty Onion Ring Clusters which are gently dehydrated and not fried so they are not greasy.
2015
- New Organic Raw Velvet Chocolate Medallions are introduced; made with only 3 ingredients.
- New flavors of Organic Superfood Dressing are introduced; Asian Ginger, Better Than Ranch, Creamy Italian, and Greek Goodness.
- Mike's Special Superfood Dressing name changed to Garlic Paprika Superfood Dressing.
- In late August, Foods Alive moved into a 10,000 sq. ft. facility in Angola, Indiana.
2014
- Deal reached with UNFI to carry our Organic Hulled Hemp Seed.
- New 8-inch & 10-inch Smoothie Size Glass Straws and 12-inch Straight Glass Straws are introduced.
- New Organic Peppermint Lip Balm, featuring our Artisan Cold-Pressed Organic Chia Oil & Hemp Oil is introduced.
2013
- New Ginger Snap Flax & Chia Snacker is introduced, our first cracker with chia.
- New Organic Superfoods; Coconut Sugar, White Mulberries, and 16oz Chia Seeds.
- New 6-inch Glass Drinking Straw and Glass Straw Carrying Case are introduced.
2012

- Distribution deal reached to supply our organic flax crackers, flax oils/dressings, and hemp oils/dressings to stores and buying clubs across much of the West and Northwest part of the country. (CA, OR, WA, ID, WY, UT, ND, SD, NE, MN, IA, MO)
- New Organic Super foods; Gold Flax Seeds, Black Sesame Seeds, Toasted Hemp Seeds, Carob Powder, and Nutritional Yeast are introduced.
- Whole Foods Markets North Atlantic and Northeast Regions (MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ) begin stocking our Organic Chia Seeds, Jungle Peanuts, and Hulled Hemp Seeds.
- New Artisan Cold-Pressed Organic Chia Oil is introduced.
- New 10-inch Bent & 8-inch Glass Drinking Straws are introduced.
2009
- Green Gold Hemp Oil and Meg's Sweet & Sassy Hemp Oil Dressing are introduced.
- Meg's Sweet & Sassy Hemp becomes the first ever salad dressing made with over 50% hemp oil.
- Our 3rd flax oil dressing is introduced, Meg's Sweet & Sassy Flax
- New Organic Super Foods; Mesquite Powder and Purple Corn Kernels are introduced.
- Distribution deal reached to supply our organic golden flax crackers to stores in the state of California. (both northern and southern)
- Whole Foods Markets in Northern and Southern California begin stocking our Organic Golden Flax Crackers.
- Whole Foods Markets South Region (Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma) begin stocking our Organic Gourmet Gold Flax Oils and Hemp Oils.
- Our 8th & 9th Super foods are introduced, Hulled Hemp Seeds and Cacao Nibs.
2008
- Mustard flax cracker is introduced, our 8th flavor.
- Changed the name of our Regular flax cracker to Original.
- Brand new pre-printed packaging is introduced for all 8 flavors of our organic flax crackers.

- Distribution deal reached to supply our organic gourmet golden flax oils to stores in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and beyond!
2007
- Distribution deal reached to supply our organic golden flax crackers to stores along the entire Eastern seaboard, the Midwest, and the South!
- Whole Foods Markets in the Midwest, South, and Northeast begin stocking our organic golden flax crackers.
- Whole Foods Markets in Northern California begin stocking our organic gourmet golden flax oils.
2006
- BBQ flax cracker is introduced, our 7th flavor.
- High Lignan, Mike's Special and Sweet Mustard organic gourmet golden flax oils are introduced.
- Mike's Special and Sweet Mustard become the first ever salad dressing made with over 50% flax oil.
- Purchase of a larger double-barrel cold-press from Germany allowing production levels to reach aprox. 200 bottles per batch.
- Whole Foods Markets landmark store in Austin, TX begins stocking our organic golden flax crackers.
2005
- Purchase of a commercial dehydrator allows production levels to reach 900+ bags per batch!
- Hemp Flax Cracker is introduced, our new 6th flavor.
- Brand new pre-printed packaging is introduced! No more printing labels and attaching by hand!!
- Purchase of a small lab size cold-press from Germany and begin cold-pressing golden flax oil in batches of aprox. 50 bottles per batch.
2004
- Onion Garlic and Carob Mint flax crackers are introduced, our 5th and 6th flavors.
- Purchase of four (4) additional Excalibur dehydrators allows production levels to reach 250+ bags per batch.
2003
- Maple & Cinnamon Flax Cracker is introduced, our 4th flavor.
- Purchase of five (5) additional Excalibur dehydrators allows production levels to reach aprox. 100+ bags per batch.
- Purchase of six (6) additional Excalibur dehydrators allows production levels to reach aprox. 200 bags per batch.
1999
- Foods Alive begins producing organic, raw, gluten-free, vegan, and kosher golden flax crackers using two (2) Excalibur dehydrators. Production levels are around 30 bags per batch.
- First three (3) flavors include Regular, Italian Zest, and Mexican Harvest.
