    faq

    How is coconut sugar made?

Coconut sap is hand-harvested by traditional sugar farmers that climb high into the canopy of coconut palms to gently slice the blossoms from their stems. This sweet nectar is then kettle-boiled into a thick caramel syrup before dehydrating and ground into crystals.

    Why use coconut sugar?

As a traditional food throughout Southern and Southeastern Asia, this sweetener is a sustainable choice and a great low-glycemic alternative to common sweeteners. It can be used as an equal replacement in recipes that call for refined white sugar, evaporated cane juice, turbinado, or agave.

    The Best

This is the best coconut sugar, I have tried. It is not overly sweet and it has a nice neutral flavor. I love the fine texture, which makes it easy to dissolve.
It makes me want to use it more than raw brown sugar. I have been using it in my tea and cocoa but will definitely try in other ways.

    So fresh!

The coconut sugar is very fresh with just the right amount of sweetness and ,surprisingly, free-flowing. I made blueberry muffins with it and they turned out great!
