Vegan Tropical Brownie


  • 1 ½ cups organic walnuts
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder (add more to taste)
  • 1/8 – ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 8 pitted medjool dates
  • 2 tsp organic vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp pure water
  • 2 tsp honey or coconut nectar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/16 tsp clove (optional)
  • 6 tidbits pineapple


      Use food processor to grind walnuts and salt until fine.
      Add cacao and 1/8 tsp cayenne.  
      Add dates and pineapple until dough forms; continue to add the vanilla, cinnamon, clove, honey and water.  
      Scoop out a tablespoon full of dough and roll into a ball.
