Spring Mix Salad with Chocolate-Strawberry Vinaigrette

Ingredients

Salad  
  • 4 oz spring mix and/or baby arugula
  • 4‐5 (or more) fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • 3 tbsp toasted/raw walnuts, chopped 
  • Zested strips from one orange
Chocolate Strawberry Vinaigrette
  • 4 large strawberries, rough chopped
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • ½ medium avocado
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste

      Procedure

      Salad
      Toss all ingredients for salad altogether.

      Chocolate Strawberry Vinaigrette
      Blend till smooth and drizzle over top of salad.  
      Place slices of strawberries on top.
