Rawlicious Oatmeal


  • 1 cup oat groats or steel cut oats
  • 1/2 apple, cored and cut into small chunks
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp water
  • chia seeds (optional)
  • walnuts (optional)


      Take a cup of oat groats and pour them into a large bowl, then cover the oats with water.
      Soak them for around 12 hours.
      After soaking the oats, drain out all of the water and pour oats into a food processor.
      Next, add the apple into the food processor.
      Then add the raisins.
      Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of all ingredients in the food processor.
      Add 2 tbsp of water into the food processor.
      Mix all ingredients for several minutes until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
      For a little crunch, sprinkle chia seeds and walnuts on top.
      Eat and enjoy!
