Raw Fig Bars

Ingredients

Base
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1 ½ cup raw almonds
  • 1 ½ cup shredded dried coconut
  • 4 large dates, pitted
  • 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt
Filling
  • 1 cup dried figs
  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey

      Procedure

      Blend Base ingredients together in food processor.  
      Layer half the base in your dish.
      Process filling ingredients.  
      Put filling on first layer then take the rest of the base and press on top.
      Makes 16 bars.
