Cranberry Scones

recipe from Raw Family Signature Dishes


  • 2 cups walnuts 
  • 2 cups grated carrots (about 2 large carrots)
  • 2 cups grated apples (about 2)
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup flaxseed
  • 4 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds or sesame seeds


      Grind walnuts in food processor.
      Pour into large mixing bowl.
      Grind carrots in food processor, add to walnuts.
      Grind apples, then add to walnuts.
      In coffee grinder, grind flaxseed until you have 1 cup ground flaxseed.
      Add to walnut mixture.
      Add raisins and cranberries.
      Add rest of the ingredients, except chia seeds. Mix well.
      Scoop onto teflex dehydrator sheets.
      Sprinkle chia seeds on top.
      Dehydrate 15‐20 hours.
