Chocolate Bark


  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder
  • ½ cup coconut mana
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 2‐4 tbsp sweetener (maple syrup, stevia, honey, etc.)
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup chopped almonds (or other nuts)
  • ¼ cup (or more) sprouted dehydrated buckwheat (this gives a nice “crunch”)


      Melt oil and mana over very low heat.  
      Add in cacao powder, salt, vanilla and sweetener and mix well.  
      Add chopped nuts and buckwheat.  
      Pour into candy molds or spread onto a cookie sheet that has been lined with waxed paper or parchment paper.  
      Refrigerate or freeze till firm.  
      Break into pieces or remove from molds.  
      Store in fridge or freezer.
      Optional additions:  cinnamon, chipotle, cayenne, ginger, nutmeg, maca, coconut, etc.
