RICH ROCKY ROAD CHOCOLATY SORBET
1 cup cacao powder
¾ cup maple syrup
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract or powder
1 ¾ cup water
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp coconut oil
2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen cherries
1 cup nuts
1/2 cup cacao nibs
Blend everything except the bananas, cherries, and nuts untill smooth in blender.
Pour into 9 x 13 glass dish and freeze till solid, remove from freezer and cut one half of the solid mixture into chunks.
Or pour into ice cube trays and freeze and use ½ of these (it fills 2 ice cube trays).
Place frozen chunks into food processor and pulse process.
Now add frozen bananas, cut into chunks and pulse again.
Add frozen cherries, nuts, and cacao nibs as preferred and pulse chop again and serve immediately.
Repeat with other half of frozen carob mixture when more is needed.
