OLIVE TAPENADE

Ingredients
1 cup pitted black olives
1 tbsp capers
1 tbsp + 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 ½ tsp Fresh basil minced or ½ tsp dried
1 tsp crushed garlic (about 1 clove, or to taste)
Dash black pepper
Directions
Process all in a blender till smooth.
Spread on Garlic toast (raw or otherwise) and top with freshly chopped tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, etc. A little goes a long way.
