CAROB PEANUT BUTTER BARS

Ingredients

1/2 cup carob powder or cacao powder

2/3 cup hemp or chia protein powder

2 tbsp flax oil
1/4 cup nut butter (almond, cashew, hemp, sunflower, etc.)
2 tbsp brewers yeast, optional
2 tbsp wheat germ

choice of sweetener - coconut sugar or maple syrup
-
chopped nuts for topping
Directions
Place all ingredients in a bowl, adding enough sweetener to make a kneadable consistency.
Spread in a square pan.
Press the chopped nuts over the top. Chill.
Cut into bars and serve.
